Feeding Tube Research
Are you aware of tube
feeds for nutrition? Do you have personal experience with it? Have
you taken care of someone with tube feeds? Would you like to help
improve the quality of support for the individuals and their families
          needing tube feeds?
This project aims to
understand the experiences of adult patients and caregivers of adult
patients who live at home with tube feeds for nutrition. We want to
identify the educational, training and other support needs of
patients living with home tube feeds. This information will be used
to provide evidence-based practical recommendations to health care
decision makers, policy makers, patients and famiyl caregivers on
          home tube feeds.
The research team is
looking for patients who use home tube feeds and caregivers who care
for someone on home tube feeds. The patient partners are encouraged
to have an understanding of the tube feeds and be open to sharing
          their insights and feedback. |
