Beulah Flu Shot Clinic
Beulah Adult Day Program participants, volunteers, and staff will be able to receive flu shots at the Beulah Gardens site on Tuesday November 3rd. Any current participants and volunteers are welcome to register even if it Tuesday is not your regular attendance day.
Staff Development Day October 21st
South Vancouver and Beulah Adult Day Programs will be closed Wednesday October 21st so staff can participate in a staff development workshop. Sorry for any inconvenience.

The Great British Columbia Shake Out
This week staff and participants will take part in the Great British Columbia Shake Out. Together we will practice earthquake safety skills, learn what we can do to prepare for an earthquake, and learn what to do during and after an earthquake. For more information please see: http://shakeoutbc.ca/

Fall Webinar Series: Demystify diabetes complications

Have you ever wondered which diabetes complications to look out for? Want to learn how to prevent them? If you said yes to any of these questions, then the Canadian Diabetes Association’s next free webinar (web seminar) is for you!
What: The “Making Diabetes Complications Not So Complicated” webinar will feature endocrinologist Dr. Jeremy Gilbert, who will review some of the main complications of diabetes and how often to check for them. Dr. Gilbert will guide us through the most important steps we can take to ensure that we remain complication free so we can live a happy and healthy life with diabetes.
