Family Caregivers Event: Take a Break, Learn and Have
Fun.
Sunday May 5, from 1:00-4:30pm at Vancouver General
Hospital, Jim Pattison Pavillion, 899 West 12th Avenue. Cost: free.
Event open to anyone providing unpaid care or support to a friend or family
member who is aging, ill, or living with a disability. At this event you will
find information about emotional well-being, support options and self
awareness. You will also learn quick and easy body mind techniques to help
monitor stress, stay grounded, and healthy. Event is free but you must

Vancouver Chinese Family
Caregiver Resource Presentation.
Wednesday May 8, from 1:00–3:00pm at Choi Hall,
S.U.C.C.E.S.S., 28 W. Pender Street. Cost: free. The event will present
valuable community resources and programs aimed at supporting Chinese
caregivers who provide unpaid care to an adult friend or family member.
Participants will received a free copy of the Take Care handbook for Caregivers
(while quantities last). Chinese caregivers and community multicultural service
