Pain Reduction & Increased Mobility - Do you suffer from arthritis, stiff joints, limited range of motion (ROM), plantar fasciitis, poor posture or physical injuries which impeded on your quality of life? The goal of this 45 minute class is to GENTLY increase blood flow to the joints, help with mobility, flexibility and give participants tools to use in their daily lives to assist with pain reduction. This program uses Myofascial release balls on the buttock region so participants will receive their own acupressure ball which is included in the fee. Owning your own ball also allows you to perform the exercises taught at home as often as you need.

Afternoon Tea with NEPP - Many sessions offered for emergency preparedness focus on families - not this session. This session is specific for Seniors focusing on challenges they may face when preparing for emergencies or disasters. We have all witnessed the recent earthquakes in Japan and New Zealand and have seen the devastation caused. Living in Vancouver, we too could be faced with an earthquake - yet few of us take the steps to ensure we are prepared. This session will ensure you and your pets are prepared. It covers what is required to develop your emergency plan, how to conduct a Hazard Hunt and what to do when an earthquake strikes when you live in an apartment or strata. Coffee, Tea and snacks will be served.
